actfirst drama® – After School Drama Groups

after school drama groups

Established in 1999, the aim of the weekly drama groups is to develop children’s knowledge of drama and performance skills – mainly acting – also incorporating mime and musical theatre (depending on the term’s theme). Also, through drama, to develop the communication, confidence, and teamwork skills essential to their future careers. The emphasis is on fun!

Each term is themed and culminates in a performance or class demonstration, to which parents and friends are invited. Drama groups take place on Tuesdays or Wednesdays (depending on the age of the child). There is one performance a year at a professional theatre. Usually, this is at Hampton Hill Theatre, and there is a small admittance charge for these of about £8-£9 to cover the extra costs.

For location and class times see homepage.
One free trial class is offered to interested students, subject to availability. Please contact Sarah for details on 07989 976453
