What people say about actfirst children’s drama classes:
“I wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you for the very positive impact your drama classes have had on my daughter’s life. In drama she has found a real passion, thanks in no small part to your great skill and infectious enthusiasm. Coming to actfirst on Tuesdays has been the highlight of her week. Many thanks for all you have done to boost her confidence.” – Sue, Teddington.
“What a fantastic show you put on, my whole family enjoyed it so much. Before Sophia joined your drama group she was very shy but I have noticed a big difference in her. She speaks up a lot more in public and full of confidence with her peers and teachers in school.” – S.Bennett
“I have enjoyed the shows and it has been great to see my son grow in ability and confidence over the years. I really admire your commitment to ensuring that all the cast members are fully involved in the shows and that their individual development is recognised” J Searle, Hampton
“Over the past 5 or so years I’ve been coming to actfirst and I have had a truly wonderful time. The energy and positivity you brought to the group was inspiring and I had so much fun whilst learning lots of new skills and refining the ones I already had. I would really like to thank you for being such an inspiration throughout my time at actfirst, and through my LAMDA exams as well.” Jake
“Jacquie is an inspiring teacher who really gives every child confidence and develops their abilities. My daughter attends actfirst evening classes and enjoys them thoroughly, participating in some lovely performances. Both my children have enjoyed enormously and gained greatly from Jacquie’s LAMDA tuition, which has boosted their confidence as well as gaining UCAS points. My daughter is now a member of the Rose Youth Theatre and had a leading role in The Rose production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: we are all convinced that Jacquie’s encouragement and expert tuition gave her the confidence and skills to gain these opportunities.” Helen, Hampton Hill.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done for Ellen. She joined your class at six and has over the last four years gained so much from you. Her confidence has grown significantly, from the quiet shy little girl to a confident young lady who loves drama and performing above everything.” – Suzanne S., Walton-On-Thames
“My son adores his drama class and is inspired and stimulated by the work they do there. It’s amazing what the class manages to achieve each term and I have watched him grow in confidence and ability over the two years that he has been doing the class. The teaching is first rate.” – M Gallagher. Twickenham
